Security Lights

Security lights are dusk to dawn lights installed and maintained by the utility on customer owned property for a monthly charge that is added directly to your electric bill. This charge is a flat rate billing that varies by size and quantity of lights.

A contract must be signed between the customer and utility. The contract will stay in force for a pre-determined period of time. Contact Daniel Baxter via email or phone (765)648-6490 to inquire about obtaining a security light.

Street Lights

Street lights are install to illuminate city streets or city right-of-ways installed to improve public safety for those who use and reside along those streets and right-of-ways. Typically, street lights are installed over radways, however, there are occasions where lights can be installed over other city owned right-of-ways such as alleys providing there's sufficient justification and requires city approval. Any city resident can initiate a petition for a street light (Refer to the petition form). Once the petition is completed and approved by the Board of Works, AMLP will install the light.
