Example
Suppose you used 14000 KWH.
- Your bill would start with the $25.70 customer charge.
- Your first 2000 KWH would be multiplied by $0.08062, which would be $161.24.
- Your next 3000 KWH would be multiplied by $0.07469, which would be $224.07.
- Your next 5000 KWH would be multiplied by $0.06937, which would be $346.85.
- All above 10,000 KWH would be muliplied by $0.06260, which would be $250.40
- You base cost would be the total of these charges plus sales tax.
Tracker
In addition to the base rate charge there is arate adjustment based upon the cost of purchased power. This
can be a positive or negative figure. Because this changes every three months, it is not used in the example.
