Example
Suppose you used 14000 KWH.
- Your bill would start with the $22.00 customer charge.
- Your first 2000 KWH would be multiplied by $0.06903, which would be $138.06.
- Your next 3000 KWH would be multiplied by $0.06395, which would be $191.85.
- Your next 5000 KWH would be multiplied by $0.05939, which would be $296.95.
- All above 10,000 KWH would be muliplied by $0.05360, which would be $214.40
- You base cost would be the total of these charges plus sales tax, which is $906.42.
Tracker
In addition to the base rate charge there is arate adjustment based upon the cost of purchased power. This
can be a positive or negative figure. Because this changes every three months, it is not used in the example.
